[cinnamon bun oatmeal]

for a typical serving:


— 1 cup dairy-free milk

— 3/4 cups oats

— 1 tablespoon coconut flour

— 1 tablespoon coconut sugar

— 1 tsp cinnamon [it’s amazing if you add some nutmeg too]

— 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder


on top:

— 2 tablespoons dairy free milk

— 1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder

— cinnamon


[sauce for sushi bowl]

— 1 tablespoon coconut sugar

— 1 tablespoon soy sauce

— 2 tablespoons rice vinegar


[avocado lime dip]

— 1/2 avocado

— 1 tablespoon vegan mayonnaise

— 2 tablespoons dairy free milk, more/less depending on how liquid you want it

— juice of 1/2 lime


[zucchini pasta]

— for the pasta I used 2 large zucchinis


[lentil sauce]

— 1/2 cup lentils

— 3 tablespoons tomato paste

— 1 cup tomato sauce

— 1 chopped up roma tomato

— sprinkle of salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and rosemary

Foods For Healthy Skin + Recipes

Hey guys!! Wanted to finish up my mini skin series with a video about foods that are great for your skin + some recipes I’m loving using those ingredients. Try to incorporate these foods into your diet for healthy skin!! Hope you enjoy!


Chocolate Chia Pudding

1 1/2 Cups Vanilla Almond Milk

1Spoon Chocolate Protein Powder (I’m using – http://bit.ly/2cg4K1A)

1/3 Cup Chia Seeds


Add a spoonful of chocolate powder to almond milk. Add chia seeds to Almond milk mixture and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Remove and mix well. Add berries as desired.


Avocado Toast

Sprouted Toast

1 Avocado

1/2 Lemon

Arugula


Ginger Green Tea

2tsp Minced Ginger

2tsp Green Tea

1tbsp Raw Honey

1/2 Lemon


Tumeric Tea

1/2 tsp Turmeric

1 tbsp Raw Honey

2 tsp Minced Ginger


Pan Roasted Salmon w/ White Beans & Kale

Wild Alaskan Salmon

Rosemary

1 Glove Garlic

1/2 White Onion

1 Clove Garlic

1 Cup White Beans

3 Cups Water

Thyme (to taste)

Red Pepper Flakes (to taste)

1/2 Red Onion

Handful Parsley

1 Bunch Kale


In a medium saucepan cook the onions, garlic, and thyme in a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the white beans with the water and let simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until beans are soft. Once cooked add chopped red onion, parsley & kale.


Add a tablespoon of Olive oil to a small/ medium sauté pan.

Add the Salmon, rosemary and garlic and cook each side for about 2 minutes or until fully cooked.


Plate with Salmon on top of white beans.

1 tsp chaat masala

1/8 tsp black pepper powder

¼ tsp lemon juice

½ inch ginger

¼ cup mozzarella cheese (optional)

1 big clove of garlic

Salt to taste

No body part has gotten more attention, admiration, or is more sought after than abdominals. Every fitness magazine has something on the cover about abs. What they fail to tell you is that you need to diet and lose the body fat to see the abs– but everyone has abs!

Abs are a pain in the ass to get AND a pain in the ass to keep! That is fact. Is it worth it for you? You have to decide. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro is recommends a good diet with fasted cardio to melt the body fat off of your abdominals.


You also need to train them to develop the separations. The more you work them, the deeper the cuts. The deeper the cuts, the higher body fat you can have. You don’t need a fitness membership to kick your abs’ ass! This is the mother of all home super sets.


Home Six Pack Superset

Perform ten (10) reps of each. Get through 1 set? Try 2 sets. Get through 2 sets? Try 3 sets. If you get through 3 sets, then increase reps per exercise (instead of 10 reps, do 20 reps):


1. Slow crunches – legs up and crossed and at 90 degree angle. Fingers behind the head with chin up. Only lift shoulders about 2-3 inches off the floor. Contract your stomach. Up and hold each for 3 seconds.


2. Faster crunches


3. Pulse up to your toes – extend feet


4. Plank up to pike with a pause – works all of stabilizing muscles


5. Pike pulses


6. Crunches – legs bent with feet crossed and hands behind your head

Healthy Turmeric Cauliflower Bites Recipe | Katie Pix

So, I’ve been hearing a lot about Turmeric. A fantastic ingredient that despite Indian cuisine and medicine being like… umm, duuuuh it’s amazing… for centuries, has suddenly become all popular! So let’s see what we can do with this magic spice…

SERVES 4 | 20 MINUTES PREP | 30 MINUTES COOKING


2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 tsp chilli powder

2 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp ground coriander

2 tsp turmeric

2 tsp ground black pepper

1 cauliflower, broken into small florets

250ml boiling water

1 tbsp vinegar

Salt


Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add the oil (or ghee if you have it available). Stir in your spices and fry for 2-3 minutes – release those fragrances! Add the cauliflower and stir to coat the florets with the spice mixture.


Add the water to the pan with the cauliflower. Season to taste with salt. Bring the pan to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5-6 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender. Enjoy!

3 RICE COOKER RECIPES // HEALTHY, EASY & VEGAN

OPEN ME FOR EXACT WRITTEN INGREDIENTS!!


(All make 1-2 servings)


RICE COOKER CHILI


½ cup onion chopped

¾ cup red bell pepper chopped

150g tempeh (marinated mine in 1.5 tbsp maple syrup, 2 tbsp soy sauce, ½ tsp minced ginger and garlic) CRUMBLED

2 garlic cloves minced

½ cup carrot chopped

1.25 cup stalk celery chopped

1 cup Kidney beans

1 cup Black beans

1 cup Corn

¾ cup Salsa

1 tbsp chili powder

½ – 1 tsp cumin

½ tsp oregano

1.5 canned diced tomatoes

1.5 tbsp tomato paste

½ tsp paprika

pepper and salt to taste


RICE COOKER PASTA


4oz pasta 110g

180g broth (add 2-3 tbsp of water if needed)

13oz sauce

1/2 cup corn

1/2 cup peas

1 cup broccoli

1/2 cup spinach

1/2 cup beans of choice


RICE COOKER BANANA BREAD


2 cup flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp of cinnamon

1 cup of rip banana mashed

1 tbsp maple syrup or coconut sugar

1 cup + 2 tbsp apple sauce

½ tbsp. of molasses

quarter of a lemon juiced

1/2 cup berries


NOTE:

// if you like sweeter banana bread reduce 2 tbsp apple sauce for more maple syrup!

// if you put this bread in the fridge/let it cool more it becomes more cake/bread like; more firm instead of gooey like shown in the video 🙂 i love it both ways!
